Bae Chen Machine Co., Ltd. was established in 1989 (the 78th year of the Republic of China). It was originally named Chuan Der Gear Factory, located in Guoxing Village, Qingshui Township, Taichung County, with a factory space of approximately 10 ping (around 33 square meters).
In 1992, due to business development needs, the company was renamed Bae Chen Machinery Co., Ltd. In 2001, under the guidance of Taichung Machinery Center and with the support of the Industrial Development Bureau’s Center for Productivity Promotion,Bae Chen joined the counseling program for the Certified Inspection-Free Production System.

In May 2004, Bae Chen relocated to a new facility in the Shuimei Industrial Park, Waipu District, Taichung. In addition to component contract manufacturing, Bae Chen also expanded into unit assembly, including:
Production and assembly of the full range of manual steady rests for lathes
Production and assembly of hydraulic presses for industrial machinery
Manufacturing and assembly of automated production equipment used for bearings
OEM production and assembly of DVD disc replication production lines
In 2019, Bae Chen completed its second factory, actively implementing ISO 14064 and related certifications, aiming to achieve net-zero emissions while maintaining efficient manufacturing operations.
